Legal Counsel Data Protection / Data Privacy (m/f/d), 100%
What you can expect
Taking Ownership: You will lead all data protection and privacy matters on both a national and international level (with a focus on Europe).
Ensuring Compliance: You will ensure adherence to all data protection regulations (Swiss FADP / EU GDPR) as well as the corporate group’s domestic and international strategies for protecting personal data.
Acting as a Bridge: You will serve as the central point of contact for data protection authorities at home and abroad, as well as for internal projects.
Living Teamwork: You will support the Legal Department in advising and guiding our operational business units.
Getting things moving: You won’t just manage data processes on paper—you’ll actively roll them out and drive them forward. You are a confident communicator who isn’t afraid to stand your ground, argue your points convincingly, and get people on board with compliance topics.
What you bring along
Education: A completed degree in law (Lic. iur. / Master of Law) or a comparable qualification. Ideally complemented by admission to the Swiss Bar.
Experience: At least 2–3 years of professional experience in the field of data protection (Swiss FADP / EU GDPR) within an international company or a law firm. Additional advanced training in data privacy is a plus. Experience using modern AI tools (such as Gemini, ChatGPT) to work efficiently and practically.
IT Affinity: A technical understanding and an affinity for working with modern information systems are a plus.
Languages: Native/fluent German and very good English (additional languages are a plus).
Personality: You are highly dedicated, strongly service-oriented, and value working as part of a team.
