You will manage end-to-end staffing, guide consultant career development, and build strong, trust-based relationships.
Do you want to do work that matters, alongside supportive leaders who will help you grow faster than you ever thought possible? Are you a creative problem-solver who is energized by challenges? You’ve come to the right place.
YOUR IMPACT
You will take end-to-end ownership of the professional development and staffing for a cohort of consultants across the Swiss office in the heart of Zurich while working closely with consultants, partners, and other team members.
You will acquire and continuously refresh a sound understanding of a dedicated industry’s/sector’s key clients, hot topics, and firm expertise/staffing pools that are relevant to bring the best of the firm to a given study. Your work will help to ensure consultants are appropriately staffed in teams where they can leverage their experience, have opportunities to learn and develop, including positive team experience. At the same time, you will help project leaders and partners to navigate staffing, find the best-fit profiles and help them compose the team accordingly.
You will monitor each consultant's development, career progression, and other career-related topics as they arise and provide your consultants with formal and informal feedback related to their staffing and evaluations. You will work closely with internal mentors and industry/practice leads, to ensure that consultants receive timely and required development opportunities, while reflecting needs in client service.
You will build strong, trust-based relationships with consultants including an in-depth understanding of professional aspirations, experience, strengths, development needs, and relevant personal skills. You will build capabilities to appropriately guide and support the consultants in their journey and staffing.
You will report and manage the information flow in the required systems. Moreover, you will own the reporting for an industry sector to create transparency and support decision-making for our Industrials leadership. In addition, you will foster community building among the colleagues in that practice by implementing formats which help consultants and leadership to connect, exchange and build lasting mentoring and sponsorship relationships.
You will also work and assume responsibility for a variety of ad hoc as well as special projects surfaced by the office leader, professional development leaders and other key stakeholders.
Your colleagues—at all levels—will invest deeply in your development, just as much as they invest in delivering exceptional results for clients. You’ll receive apprenticeship, coaching, and exposure that will accelerate your growth in ways you won’t find anywhere else.
YOUR GROWTH
You are someone who thrives in a high-performance environment, bringing a growth mindset and entrepreneurial spirit to tackle meaningful challenges that have a real impact.
In return for your drive, determination, and curiosity, we’ll provide the resources, mentorship, and opportunities to help you quickly broaden your expertise, grow into a well-rounded professional, and contribute to work that truly makes a difference.
