More than 70 countries, 1 global program: How Henkel is putting parents first worldwide 🧑👩👧 Our #GenderNeutralParentalLeave program allows all our employees worldwide to take eight weeks of fully paid parental leave. Especially in countries with limited parental leave options, this is an important step towards greater family-friendliness and gender #equity. 🤝 While fathers are often disadvantaged in Europe, in some countries in South America and Asia, even women do not receive any financial support during their parental leave. Our global program thus ensures that all employees – regardless of gender or form of parenthood, including adoptive or foster parents, same-sex couples, or single parents – can benefit equally.

Ever thought about rolling noises of electric vehicles? 🚗👂 In general, EVs face increased road noise due to the absence of engine sounds. To enhance comfort, manufacturers use "silent tires," but current methods can raise costs by up to 25%. In collaboration with 4JET we have introduced an innovative solution to tackle this challenge: ➡️ A new process that simplifies the production of quiet tires in electric vehicles, cutting costs and boosting sustainability. Henkel Adhesive Technologies' innovative Loctite LASER-FIT acoustic foam is applied in liquid form directly inside the tire, activated by a laser, streamlining production and reducing material waste. This technology not only lowers costs but also improves the tire’s CO₂ footprint, supporting the future of sustainable mobility.

🌿 Achieving NetZero emissions is not an easy task, especially as a manufacturing company, but we are tackling this challenge step by step! In Europe, we have now completely converted our production processes for consumer goods to carbon-neutral energy. This is the result of our efforts over many years to reduce our energy consumption through more efficient processes and to rely on renewable sources for the remaining energy required. By 2030, we want to reduce the CO2 emissions of our production processes worldwide by 67% and source 100% of our electricity from renewable sources.
