About the Role: Quality and reliability are non-negotiable at InvestGlass, especially given the strict compliance requirements of the financial institutions we serve. We are looking for a meticulous QA Engineer to ensure the flawless execution of our software products. You will be responsible for designing and implementing comprehensive test plans, debugging complex issues, and defining corrective actions. You will work across the entire platform, testing new features in our CRM, client portal, and API integrations. By combining manual exploratory testing with robust automated test suites, you will act as the gatekeeper of quality, ensuring that every release meets our high standards before it reaches our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review product requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback from a quality perspective.
• Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases for both new features and regression testing.
• Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities within our agile development cycles.
• Design, develop, and execute automation scripts using open source tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright) to increase testing efficiency.
• Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs, working closely with developers to ensure timely resolution.

Requirements:

• 1 to 3 years of proven work experience in software quality assurance, preferably testing complex web applications.
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes, including both manual and automated testing techniques.
• Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Hands-on experience with automated testing tools and frameworks, and a basic understanding of programming languages (like JavaScript or Python) for writing test scripts.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process and familiarity with issue tracking tools like Jira.
