Pros
IBM CIO - Good work life balance and decent pay Less work, so have time to upskill if you use your time well Don't need to clock 9hrs in office, 3 days work from office Target to get into IBM ISDL or ISL - they have better quality of work and pay
Kontras
legacy systems - 70% of the projects Lazy management. Even their 1-1 feed backs are the same to every employee. They expect a lot of innovation and automation even when there's no scope for it in the project (all legacy systems) extremely easy work, so not much growth. they're trying to shift everything to SAP, you need to be proactive and find projects for yourself (if you dont want to pickup SAP and stick to your cuurent tech stack) cause the management wont lift a finger. IBM CIO uses only ibm products like ibm cloud, cirrus etc which is only relevant in IBM, so you wont have exposure to docker, aws, azure etc which stunts your growth. Everything is abstracted, its hard to understand the underlying workflow.
