This award is would not have been possible without our talented Funds teams in Europe and across the segment as a whole, who continue to collaborate daily to meet our clients’ needs and ensure our continued success.
During the height of the pandemic, IQ-EQ Netherlands wanted to help so they launched an initiative to produce their own face masks to sell, with the proceeds being donated to the Foodbank Amsterdam. The initiative had a social impact at every step of the project, hiring two individuals whose income had dramatically declined since the beginning of the pandemic to provide the fabric and produce the face masks.
On Thursday 19 November, our Luxembourg office participated in a challenge to raise money to support a charity close to their hearts; the European Association against Leukodystrophies (ELA). The aim of the challenge was simple – for every step taken by a Luxembourg employee during that day, IQ-EQ Luxembourg would donate 1 cent to the ELA. With this 1 step = 1 cent motto, our Luxembourg team targeted to reach out 1 million steps before 8pm.
Since many of our Amsterdam colleagues continue to work from home, the coffee machines in the office had been feeling a little neglected. Therefore, the team came up with the idea of finding a 'new home' for one of the machines. The lucky recipients were the Animal Shelter Amsterdam (DOA). We are pleased to announce that IQ-EQ has been named as a finalist for two awards in the 2020 Funds Europe Awards – including ‘European Alternative Administrator of the Year’ for the second year running.
Our #Mauritius office have continued to support those who were most affected by the devastating oil spill earlier this year. They have now partnered with local non-governmental organisation (NGO), Caritas Mahebourg, to donate several food packages to 23 families who were affected by both the COVID-19 crisis and the Wakashio oil spill.
