Our Isle of Man colleagues held a raffle to raise a grand total of £705 for the Manx Breast Cancer Support Group and were joined by the charity's aptly-named Booby Bear to thank them for their generous donation. Whereas, over in the Channel Islands, our Guernsey offices hosted a breakfast buffet to raise proceeds for Breast Cancer Now. Our #IsleofMan office recently sponsored a mural at their local maternity ward to remember those babies that were “born asleep”, as part of Baby Loss Awareness Week on 9-15 October. At the end of September, IQ-EQ #ersey welcomed six Discovery Trainees to begin their careers at IQ-EQ. This year, things are a little different but it didn’t stop us having fun over a packed four days! They’ve learnt about themselves, the business and our passion for giving back to our local communities. How often do you spend the day at Jersey Zoo clearing brambles in the orangutan enclosure while the orangutans keep a close eye from over the water? Or cooking a whopping 284 meals for the local foodbank? They’ve bonded, laughed and may be a little tired but that’s what inductions are all about!
