Pros
MS has always offerred countless opportunities for ambitious, hard working people. Much of this has been lost to size and beurocracy, but if a person knows how to promote themself they can be effective and still push the envelope.
Kontras
Beaurocracy. Too much attention to achieving review goals, even if the business needs change. Many ineffective mgrs, but certainly not all. Promoting a tech to manage techs rarely works, but frequently happens at MS.
