The nVent team was proud to see another part of the Changemakers program come to life during last Friday’s Minnesota Lynx game! Many of our employees attended the game to support Changemakers Night. Changemakers is a first-of-its-kind venture focused on building the next generation of female leaders and elevating women’s sports in Minnesota. One of the highlights was the mid-court recognition of Girls Taking Action, the first Changemakers impact partner. Girls Taking Action works to motivate, empower and educate girls about the importance of understanding their personal power, achieving academically, actualizing their personal leadership, creating positive social change in their local community, and developing a career plan that includes post-secondary education. Our Chief Marketing Officer Martha Bennett joined fellow inaugural partners from Pentair and Target to present the Girls Taking Action team with a check to support their important work. The Lynx kept up the energy, bringing home a W at the end of the night. Congratulations to the team on a well-played game.
