Recently, our Grass Roots Employee Resource Group held its annual Commute Green Challenge to celebrate Zero Emissions Day. The challenge ran July 1 to September 30. Employees could bike, walk, drive an electric vehicle, carpool or take public transportation. In total, 78 nVent employees commuted green, adding up to 25,000 kg CO2 diverted from the atmosphere. Last week, our Rhode Island team volunteered at the Rhode Island Community Food Bank. Our volunteers packaged 195 boxes and more than 6,000 pounds of food to distribute to residents in that state. #WeArenVent #Volunteerism
