Just one week until we return to the Navajo Nation for our third Skip the Grid trip with California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo and Heart of America. This year we're excited to partner with Nextracker Inc. to continue our mission to promote education equity and create opportunities for students to engage with renewable energy. Construction is kicking off at Eldorado Solar in Saline County, Illinois. We look forward to working with Sol Systems to generate good energy in the community, with benefits including tax revenue for local schools, services and conservation efforts, rental income for 19 landowners, and a pollinator habitat. Our scope of work includes both PV and high-voltage EPC that will create an estimated 500 jobs on site during construction. Congratulations Sol Systems on this project milestone!
Exciting news for two SOLV Energy EPC projects in Texas! Lightsource bp's continued investment in Texas is helping diversify the state's electric grid to keep homes and businesses powered through extreme weather challenges. Now that's some good energy 😎
Congratulations Primergy Solar! SOLV Energy will provide PV and high-voltage EPC and O&M services on Ash Creek Solar in Hill County, TX. The 408 MWac project will create an estimated 350 jobs throughout construction, which is expected to go through early 2025.
We're proud to support Arevon Energy, Inc. as the PV and BESS EPC contractor and SCADA services provider on Vikings, a landmark project in California's Imperial Valley. Vikings exemplifies the vast potential of the IRA, not only providing on-demand clean power, but also learning opportunities through good energy partnerships with local schools and organizations like the Center for Employment Training and CASA of Imperial County.
