As LGBTQIA+ Pride Month begins, Fidelis Care recognizes and celebrates the contributions of the LGBTQIA+ communities, including our employees, members, providers, and community partners. This monthlong observance is an opportunity to raise awareness about LGBTQIA+ rights and issues and promote inclusivity and acceptance.
Fidelis Care and the New York Urban League (NYUL) hosted a Youth Mental Health Fair at Bronx Legacy High School in NYC, featuring a free workshop and activities that focused on improving mental well-being. Thank you to all those who attended the Spina Bifida Association of New York State (SBANYS) Walk-N-Roll for Spina Bifida event at Central Park in Schenectady, NY. This event raises awareness of spina bifida, a condition impacting nearly 200,000 Americans, while raising funds to support those individuals and their families. Fidelis Care Health Benefit Representative Milein Diaz was on site during the event to answer questions about health insurance and help people apply for coverage.
