In observance of LGBTQIA+ Pride Month in June, Fidelis Care representatives were on site for a special event at Ryan Health in NYC, providing information about health insurance coverage while the center offered free HIV testing.

Representatives from the Fidelis Care Health and Recovery Plan (HARP) Team recently volunteered at the Regional Food Bank of Northeastern New York, organizing and boxing up over 4,500 pounds of food. This food will be distributed through the food bank to nearly 900 charitable agencies in 23 counties of northeastern New York. Thank you, HARP Team, for bringing our mission to life!

In observance of Pride Month, Fidelis Care is spotlighting voices from our company as well as LGBTQIA+ organizations in New York State. Nathaniel Gray, MSW, Executive Director, Pride Center of the Capital Region, says it's important that services and support are available to the LGBTQIA+ community through organizations like the Pride Center. In addition to increasing LGBTQIA+ visibility, the center provides free mental healthcare and case management.Through the Pride Center's partnership with Fidelis Care, members of the community also can learn about health insurance options available to them. Thank you to all those who attended our community baby shower event in Washington Heights! Community partners were on site at the event, including LINC Communities and Dominican Women's Development Center (DWDC). Those organizations gave away baby care items to expectant and new mothers. Information about important community resources for WIC, SNAP, and postpartum care were also provided.
