Proud to share that for the second year, the Clean Harbors Strong team participated in the Boston Marathon Jimmy Fund Walk, raising over $14,300 for cancer research at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute! On October 6, our team of 20 walkers and volunteers took to the route, inspired by personal stories and the hope of a future free from cancer. Co-captain Stephanie Pascoe highlighted our commitment: “I’m grateful to work for a company that supports this cause.” Together, we walked with purpose and made a difference!

Nearly every aspect of daily life is made possible because a truck driver delivered the goods and resources people need. National Driver Appreciation Week is an important time to thank all the professional truck drivers for their hard work and commitment in undertaking one of our economy's most demanding and important jobs. These 3.5 million professional men and women not only deliver our goods safely, securely, and on time, but they also keep our highways safe. Clean Harbors extends a heartfelt thanks to all of our drivers who represent us on the roads every day. Thank you! #NowHiring #NationalDriverAppreciationWeek #CDLJobs
Clean Harbors avoided more than 3.5 million metric tons of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions last year – the third consecutive year the company avoided double the emissions generated from its operations. Our 2024 Sustainability Report highlights our sustainable environmental and industrial services and details our commitment to minimizing the company’s environmental footprint while also helping our customers to mitigate environmental impacts and achieve their sustainability goals.
Once again Clean Harbors sponsored a thrilling and successful race in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series. This year the #CleanHarbors250 came to the Richmond Raceway on Saturday, Aug. 10, where Thad Moffitt drove the Safety-Kleen sponsored No. 46 Chevrolet Silverado. Highlights included Clean Harbors President of Environmental Sales and Service Jeroen Diderich waving the green flag at the start of the race, giving away once-in-a-lifetime NASCAR driving and ride-along experiences and Richard Petty signed memorabilia, and meeting customers and race fans from around the country. Congrats to ThorSport Racing No. 98 Ty Majeski / Soda Sense Ford Performance for earning the spot in victory lane!
This week, for the second year in a row, we welcomed a group of students from The Boys and Girls Club of Brockton, Massachusetts to the Clean Harbors corporate office south of Boston. They heard from Co-CEO Michael Battles, along with other leaders and employees to learn about different career paths within the company. We had a great time with these students and hope to one day see them in one of our offices, in the field, or behind the wheel!
In honor of Pride month, Clean Harbors branches in the United States and Canada have been taking part in a company-wide collection drive throughout the month of June. As part of the “Wear Your Identity” campaign, a first of its kind for the company, locations have been collecting new undergarments for LGBTQ+ individuals experiencing poverty and homelessness. Locations have partnered with local organizations in their communities as part of the drive and drop zones for items have been set up and decorated by “host champions” who work at each branch. #PrideMonth #InclusiveWorkplace #CommunityOutreach #PrideERG #NowHiring

At Clean Harbors, we celebrate the remarkable journey of Air Force veteran Weston Walker's return to his hometown of Kimball, Nebraska, through Clean Harbors and the Department of Defense SkillBridge program. Walker's seamless transition into a utilities engineering role with us underscores the invaluable contributions veterans bring to our team. His story, and those of our other SkillBridge candidates, epitomizes the power of SkillBridge in bridging the gap between military service and civilian careers, reinforcing our commitment to supporting veterans in their professional endeavors. #VeteranHiring #DoDSkillBridge
It's that time of year again – ahead of the Monster Jam show, Grave Digger and DIGatron visited Clean Harbors headquarters in Norwell, Massachusetts. We also received a visit from NASCAR ARCA Series driver Logan Misuraca in her Clean Harbors car, along with the Norwell Police and Fire Departments (with special guest K-9 Teddy). Employees and their families had the opportunity to view the trucks up close and meet the drivers, all while enjoying lunch and ice cream.
