As a Junior Sous Chef you will be required to:

• Assist our chefs with the overall running of the kitchen
• Monitor HACCP procedures and hygiene standards
• Maintain a high quality of our menu and its presentation
• Be efficient and have a proven ability to work under pressure

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, and present dishes within your assigned section.
• Assist in developing new menu items and specials.
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation, ensuring compliance with hygiene and safety regulations.
• Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed to minimize waste.
• Train and mentor junior kitchen staff and apprentices.
• Ensure consistency in portion sizes and food quality.
• Work efficiently under pressure during busy service periods.
• Follow health & safety and food hygiene standards at all times.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role.
• Experience in pub food or casual dining is a plus.
• Passion for cooking and attention to detail.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Team player with a positive attitude.
• Fluent in English.
• Must have EU Passport
