Are you a hands-on engineering student who enjoys a mix of deep analytical work and getting out of the office to solve real-world problems? As our new Engineering Intern (ASAP, 2-3 months, 100%) based in Zurich Wiedikon, you will be right in the middle of the action. Balancing your time between our office and on-site field visits, you will investigate root causes and optimize the performance and reliability of our smart hardware fleet across Switzerland.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Diagnose our current fridge cooling systems across various site conditions and usage patterns
• Analyze root causes behind possible issues such as cooling instability
• Develop and propose pragmatic solutions for each identified issue, ranging from on-site fixes to long-term structural improvements
• Work both hands-on (testing, measuring, being on-site with our fridges) and strategically (analysis, recommendations, documentation)

YOUR PROFILE

• Currently studying, between degrees, or recently graduated in an engineering field (e.g., mechanical, process, thermal)
• 3 years of academic experience
• Solid understanding of thermodynamics, heat transfer, and mechanical systems
• Practical and curious mindset
• Valid Swiss driver's license (Category B) and willingness to travel to client sites across Switzerland
• Fluency in either German or English (both is an advantage)
• Availability to commit to a 2–3-month project over the summer
• Non-smoker - we don't want you to smell like cigarettes, neither at work nor at customer meetings. After all, FELFEL is about good food.
• Valid work permit or Swiss passport.
