Pros
- Flexibility with shifts. (Depending on the process) - Easy to get leaves. - Job safety (Wipro hardly fires anyone unless the person is really bad at their job, however, still it gives multiple chances to improve) - Home pick and drop via cab available from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., however, for other shifts shuttle service is available from near your home.
Kontras
- Bare Minimum Salary hikes (Anywhere from 2 to 6% on an average, however, if you are an outstanding performer, then, you may just get a 10% hike) - Overwhelming workload (May vary from process to process) - Extended shifts due to overwhelming workload (shift may stretch anywhere from 12 to 15 hours continuously for days) - Internal projects that may require you to work on weekends as you cannot take out time for those projects during normal workdays or hours as you already occupied with a huge workload on a daily basis. - No incentive or overtime provided by the company. - Growth opportunity very less as company depends on the scorecard, however, nobody clearly understands how the scorecard works. They have made the scorecard so complicated that no one exactly knows how people are shortlisted for IJP's in the company with the help of a complicated scorecard due to which not many worthy people even get a chance to appear for tests or interviews. - No clear visibility related to an employee's performace.
