Pros
● You get to work on some of the most bleeding edge applications possible. Every feature we ship, we notice users with their heads exploding at the amount of work they can automate that used to take days / hours to do. ● Co-workers are truly brilliant - we have some geniuses and smartest engineers, researchers, and designers. Learning from them and working next to them is an awesome experience. ● You work on application-level AI, which is the future of how AI will change the world. We try new UIs, interaction modes, changes to models. All of this, you sit front row of how user behaviors change.
Kontras
● Work hard, play hard culture. Engineers are working late and founders themselves are always in office past midnight. Had a few people come from FAANG only to leave after 90 days, which makes sense given it's likely too much for them. ● Intense - when there's a big launch or product being build, it's all hands on deck. The timeline is always super tight and every team is running around trying to fix things that are breaking. We get 100s of requests each day for data to help inform decisions. ● Performance is everything - you can be a great person but if you don't deliver, the company doesn't really see you. It does push you to be your best, but definitely took some adjustment period.
