Innovation is frowned upon. Meetings are held for everything with no solutions being made. Making solutions on your own without holding useless meetings where everyone and their dog join, then the solution is instantly deemed horrible. Solution to problems are not allowed to be brought up in meetings looking for solutions. Unrealistic goals set by management. Employees are spread across the entire country...only way to talk to someone is through skype. Skype meetings are used for everything, people in adjacent cubes even join the same skype call... You can count on one hand the number of good engineers that work in a project employing over 100 people... The solution to everything is more man power and meetings.
