My experience with AZ Chennai has been deeply disappointing due to several concerning issues in management and workplace culture. The middle management operates in a highly political and cutthroat manner, with little to no recognition for genuine effort or talent. Those who engage in favoritism or "buttering up" seem to thrive, while others face abrupt role eliminations without proper warning or justification. The HR department has also failed to uphold basic professionalism and ethics, which is deeply disheartening. It’s unfortunate to see a lack of accountability, as HR seems more focused on playing internal games rather than addressing employee concerns or fostering a healthy work environment. There also appears to be a bias in leadership, particularly favoring individuals from specific backgrounds, which affects opportunities for others regardless of their skill or knowledge. Under the leadership of Siva, the Center Head, and Anuradha in HR, the environment at AZ Chennai feels less like a professional workplace and more like a personal network for select individuals. Employees are often treated poorly, akin to household help rather than valued professionals. It’s troubling to see that while recruitment is ongoing, layoffs are being executed simultaneously without a clear or fair process. The company also does not seem to encourage upskilling or learning opportunities for employees, making it a poor choice for those who want to grow in their careers. Until there is a significant change in leadership and culture, AZ Chennai will continue to be a challenging and unappealing place to work. I hope senior management takes these concerns seriously and addresses these systemic issues for the betterment of the employees and the organization as a whole.
