Pros
I really liked some of the people and made some good friends there.
Kontras
Leadership is mostly concerned with protecting their own position at the company and don't actually seem to care about much else. The sales have slowed down and they immediately look for anyone to blame that isn't them. Every time there is a soft quarter, you watch a stream of people get sacrificed to protect bad managers. Most of the longer term employees learned from this system and are experts at dodging responsibility. The internal systems (built on Appian, of course) are a jumbled mess. All the silos build their own utilities, everything is inconsistent, and there are constant arguments about whose view is right when the truth is the systems and reporting are so bad that no one really knows. Things get lost all the time, customers get frustrated, and the managers blame their teams. There is no consistency in what they say the product does. The core platform has changed very little in 5 years, but they keep over promising and spinning to make it seem like it's making huge changes. It was "unifying enterprise data" then "low code data" then "data fabric". Three names for the same thing. They just polish the turd and try to resell it to customers every 6-12 months with heightened expectations. You're in a terrible situation following the sales and marketing people as you have to reset the customer expectations to reality. It is an awful grind working here. Leaving felt amazing.
