      For external people: Amazon pays as much as 50%++ more for external hires than incumbent ones at same level. Culture is very international and DEI is everywhere

      Kontras

      Internal promotion is like a fishing bait. You can get it if you work super long hours. But even after getting it you'll be surprised of salary increase (around 10% even)
