Great benefits. The RME apprenticeship is a great program. Amazon will pay you At the end of 12 weeks, after passing 4 PMMI tests (Industrial Electricity, PLC's, Mechanical Principles & Motor Control, and Fluid Power & Pneumatics) you'll get a raise to $21.80/hour. After 2,000 hours of OTJ (on-the-job) training, you take a comprehensive test (Ramsay). Upon passing that, you get another raise ($5+ per hour). Toyota is currently paying $28/hour for RME Techs and Telsa is paying $31/hour so AMZN will probably have to come up.

For the motivated, they have several programs where they will pay for your education, and help you raise your wage by acquiring a knowledge base and skill set that is in demand from employers. Make friends with HR, learn the policies and procedures of your benefits, that will keep the AMZN machine from crushing you.
