I've had the chance to launch multiple amazon FCs whole advancing from Area Manager to Sr Ops. Your experience (stress level, work life balance, etc) will completely depend on your Sr leadership team. Building culture is everything, not a lot of companies the opportunity to move all over the world while growing your career. My advice: get to the level you desire and transfer out to operations, its a grind.
