Pros

+ Company culture (inclusion, diversity, regular feedback mechanisms, ...) + Co-workers (if the bar in the team is high, you can learn a lot from each other) + You can move laterally to plenty of roles, even your professional/academic background does not match the offer. Allows you to reinvent yourself. + Easy to transfer internationally + Once you understand how the company works, it is relatively easy to get promoted

- Typically everyone is under-hired in terms of internal leveling - Operational processes, no matter the seniority of the role - In EU salary is low vs. comparable competitors - Unless you get promoted, salary barely increases year over year - Internal politics might affect promotions - Almost everyone works overtime, which creates an unveiled pressure to work extra hours (which are not remunerated) - In certain teams, mgmt. changes too often, which of course makes difficult that the team gets results, that people gets developed, etc.
