Do not expect anything extra compared to other tech companies. Nothing is free at amazon. No free drinks/snacks. No gyms. Nothing. Different teams let alone orgs have very different cultures. It highly depends on your manager how your work/life balance will be handled. I only joined for the name but honestly I should’ve just joined a start up or some mid size company in the bay. You will honestly have the worst time of your life here... and amazon knows this. Their stock vesting accounts for people leaving the company early. Do not make the same mistakes I did and avoid this company at all cost.
