Training... even though its 4 weeks of classroom style training not enough variety when it comes to different learning styles. It's important because the system they are using is not compatible with processing disability claims. There are other companies out there that do invest money into their software making your time there more productive and efficient. This company does not. Nothing reads at face value, for example "what is the current status of this case?" You have to do alot of digging to get the basic information. The system is also all manual. So, if you need to make a pay out on this claim, you need to calculate everything manually. Based on the system alone I would not recommend any short term disability case manager that is looking to switch over here. Its not worth the headache. Leadership Leaders hype you up verbally feeding you all the right things in your ear making you feel like you are doing a great job. Then they surprise hit you with a flimsy performance plan with no prior documented coaching. And when you go to your leaders and request clarification? They have no answers instead they refer you back to the contracting company. Contractor company has no answers either and refers back. No one takes accountability for placing employee on a performance plan.
