In December 2025, I had an interview for the position of Area Contracting Manager. The interview lasted approximately 10 minutes, the shortest interview of my life, and was conducted by the recruitment team in Spain.
The conversation was very brief and limited to three questions, including salary expectations, without a real opportunity to discuss the role in detail or ask questions about the company or culture. It was also mentioned that my resume had not been reviewed in advance.
Additionally, legal-related skills were mentioned during the interview, which were not reflected in the original job description.
Overall, while I have respect for the company, this experience raised concerns about the consistency of the recruitment process in Spain, particularly for senior-level candidates with extensive experience.
