They required an onsite interview and flew me out. To do this I had to take two days of PTO at a personal cost of nearly two thousand dollars. They put me up in a roach motel with stained sheets, ripped carpet, moldy walls and shower, next to an hourly train that prevented any level of restful sleep. Bought the cheapest flights that kept me in the air and traveling for ~20 hours. They showcased a complete lack of respect for my time and the value of my money and experience. Both flights had me arriving at my final destination after 11 pm, and on the incoming flight with no food available.
Between interviews I was invited to ask questions. However, when I asked questions about the business I was repeatedly dismissed with an "lol" and told to ask the sourcing recruiter.
I withdrew from the process.
