Vorstellungsgespräch
General Discussion about experience followed by light technical review. The questions were not hard if you meet the job qualifications that they list on job postings. I would err on the side of looking over the very basics prior to going in just to make sure you are good if you get a bit of anxiety.

I drove to Tupelo for the in-person interview. It was pretty laid back. They asked me questions about the basics of Object-Oriented Programming with a pretty easy technical question at the end. I thought the interview went well, and they told me that they would contact me the following week about whether or not I was getting an offer. That was the last time I would ever hear from them. I emailed both of the interviewers to follow up, but I never heard anything back from them. I don't mind getting rejected, but if I am going to drive almost an hour for an interview, I think they should have the decency to follow up and contact me afterwards regardless of the results.

I was asked to come in for an interview. It was a one on one with the development manager. It was laid back for the most part and he seemed to fill me with a lot of hope for a possible job offer. For programmer position he seemed to focus an awful lot on SQL questions. In programming that is only 25% of the battle. I was literally asked nothing about code. So definitely seemed to have his priorities wrong. In the end I was not offered a position. Matter of fact, this small company didn't even have the decency to let me know that I didn't get the position even after sending two emails WEEKS - a month after the interview. Not very professional if they can't even do that. My suggestion would be just to avoid CSA. I hear their pay isn't all that great anyway. Professionalism is everything and the fact that they could not communicate with me and rather just ignored my emails speaks volumes and it should speak volumes to you as well if you are reading this.

Asked me how to query a database. Can't remember the exact db example. This was last October.
