We are starting 2023 with our #newcomer of the week, Makram. He joined us last year as an Institutional Relationship Manager in our Dubai MEA office 👨💼. He holds a bachelor's degree in International Business Management and a certificate in Wealth Management. Before starting his journey with us, he worked for six years for an investment bank.

🆕 Meet our #newcomer of the week: Karim started as a Product Analyst in our Product Management Team in August. Even though he has a background of more than ten years in banking, Karim studied marketing, media, and fashion at ESMOD Paris (France). After a few years of working for luxury brands, he decided to switch careers and found a position working for a French bank. “My career path is less traditional, but I learned a lot through internal training and work experience. I’ve moved from opportunity to opportunity, and now I’m doing something I am pleased with.”
Last month, we were a part of the Lugano Finance Forum in, well, the beautiful city of Lugano 🌴! Some of our Product analysts, Marketing, and Finance expert held conferences on ESG, recurring orders, and structured products. It was a great opportunity to engage with adepts from the financial community. We are looking forward to coming back next year!
It is finally sweater weather 🏒 and our Swissquote hockey team is getting back on the ice! ❄ Founded in 2019, the club counts 30 passionate players who train every Wednesday from November to March. They are all fired up for this new season! 🔥

3, 2, 1, Let's Go! Our colleagues from SQ Bank Europe took out their running shoes for a good cause 🏃♂️. They participated in the 5th edition of the Lëtz Go Gold to raise funds for pediatric cancer research. With the strength and determination of lions 🦁, they finished the course and helped raise 2'915 EUR! Congrats on this solid performance 💪!
