Our Development MD, Gillian Noble, will be joining the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero Onshore Wind Taskforce. Speaking about her appointment, she said: “As an established, proven and critical part of the UK energy mix, onshore wind offers a huge opportunity to increase UK energy security. I’m delighted to be joining the taskforce to support the development of a roadmap to get us there. “Given ScottishPower Renewables’ leading role in the sector, I know that by collaborating across industry to deploy more onshore wind, we’ll not only generate more clean, green electricity, but will also be able to share more community benefit funding to support local ambitions, unlock more environmental and ecology investment, and create more jobs and supply chain opportunities across the country. And we’re ready, willing and able to work together to do just that.”
