As conversations around judicial experience, security, and public trust continue to evolve, the State of Georgia’s Nathan Deal Judicial Center in downtown Atlanta provides a supreme example of how interior planning and architectural intent can work together to support justice from the inside out. This is the second article in our series, where we’re revisiting the Nathan Deal Judicial Center design to unpack the ideas, decisions, and collaboration behind the project. Providing a new home for Georgia’s judicial branch, the seven-story, 3-Peach rated facility was a win for the SSOE Group-RAMSA | Robert A.M. Stern Architects team who partnered on the complex courthouse design.
CEO Vince DiPofi, PE is set to deliver the keynote at the National Amplify Allyship Tour’s Toledo stop next week, “Future-Proof Leadership: Allyship in an AI-Influenced Workplace.” SSOE’s Candice Harrison, Director of Inclusion & Community Impact, will take on two panels. When it comes to student housing, SSOE is the queen bee. A beehive is nature’s most efficient architecture—every cell perfectly sized, nothing wasted, the whole community thriving. Like its namesake, that’s exactly what SSOE pulled off at The Hive just off the Georgia Tech campus. On just 0.84 acres, we designed a 307-bed, 100-unit complex humming with life: every room basking in natural light, every floor offering space to gather, a rooftop that opens to the Atlanta skyline, and retail that keeps the street buzzing. Completed in July 2025, the project was fully leased before the fall semester even started. Guess you could say the colony approves. #SSOEsoutheast
Tomorrow, SSOE’s world headquarters becomes a classroom for a dozen local high schoolers! As part of #EngineersWeek, students from Whitmer and Port Clinton high schools are joining us for our annual "Engineer for a Day" program. Part of a nationwide effort, Engineers Week helps spark interest in engineering and technology careers and highlights the critical need for future STEM talent. From structural modeling to electromagnetism, we’re helping the innovators of tomorrow connect their passions to the possibilities of AEC. #PressRelease

To meet evolving industry needs, SSOE Group is partnering with Toledo Technology Academy (TTA) to deliver industry-aligned experiences that prepare students for the complexity and scale of today’s project delivery—strengthening the workforce our clients depend on and advancing long-term regional economic vitality. The partnership integrates two TTA students from the school’s CAD and Automation / Controls programs into SSOE’s spring workflow, replacing their traditional lab requirement with immersive, hands‑on experience inside a global AEC practice. January in Michigan? Frosting. Lots of frosting. At SSOE’s Midland office, we kicked off our new monthly birthday tradition by making something sweet. Our January celebration featured a full Cupcake Bar complete with flavor, frosting, and topping options, plus mini ice cream cones and a Zero‑Sugar section. Collaboration fuels our work—and occasionally our sweet tooth. These small moments of connection spark creativity, bring people together, and make the workday just a little bit brighter. Good teams work well together. Great teams add cupcakes. #SSOEmidwest
