Last year, our Workin’ Moms of Renaissance employee resource group launched "Thank Yous from Moms", a twice-yearly recognition campaign where moms at Renaissance nominate colleagues who live up to our company values and help create a work environment where moms feel supported as both caregivers and employees. During the most recent campaign, 10+ employees were acknowledged for "always showing support, empathy, kindness, guidance, and humor to other working moms". Take a look at some of the "thank yous" that were given!

For our final 'Hidden Figure Spotlight', Nikkia, Customer Success Manager, presents her hometown hero: Zora Neale Hurston. Nikkia explains, "My family and I were members of the same church that her father served in the early 1900s. As a teenager, I remember attending the annual Zora Neale Hurston festival to celebrate her life and accomplishments. I am honored to be connected to the author, anthropologist, and philanthropist and hope to walk in her footsteps as a fellow educator and future author." As we work remotely at Renaissance, every day is National Love Your Pet Day! It's no secret that we love our furry, scaled, and feathered "coworkers" who keep us company throughout the workday, make special video call appearances, and provide us comfort when we need it. 🐾
Here's another 'Hidden Figure Spotlight' created by our Flocabulary team and narrated by Brianna, Customer Success Manager and RVIBE member. As a first generation Caribbean-American woman, Brianna feels connected to Judaline Cassidy because she shares some of same the qualities that her parents have: "a strong work ethic and determination". Brianna explains, "When my parents left their home islands for the U.S. many years ago, they both left with a positive mindset and determination to work hard, so that their future children could have a better and brighter future. Thanks to my parents for making that decision, my siblings and I are able to achieve our dreams." Watch to learn more and join us in celebrating Black History Month: https://bit.ly/3uGZMX0
