This month, we gathered for the Out of the Darkness Community Walk. Organized by the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, this event served as a journey of remembrance, hope, and solidarity. To support this critical organization, #TeamRapid raised $2,000! Together we strive to end the stigma that silences people navigating mental illness, enabling them to seek community and support.
Amanda Hayden, Director of Compliance & Licensing, is celebrating 15 years with Rapid Response this month! 💫 After joining #TeamRapid in 2009, Amanda worked her way from Control Center Specialist to Licensing Manager two years later. "Since then, the Licensing Department’s responsibilities have grown to cover many facets of compliance. We now have a team of about 10 people, and we’re still growing," said Amanda. "It’s been an exciting journey to not only lead development on groundbreaking projects but to have the ability to offer licensing-related services to our Dealers." While we consider Amanda our resident "jack-of-all-trades," one of her most recent and notable accomplishments is the deployment of rapidAtlas. This service helps Dealers identify and understand permit and dispatch requirements by jurisdiction. "Compliance is ever-changing. We want our Dealers to rely on us, knowing that we are the subject matter experts in industry standards and certification requirements for NFPA, UL, IQ, FM Approvals, FDNY monitoring, and more," says Amanda.
