My name is Vanessa and my journey with Panda Express began as a Counter Help. With the support of Panda, I have continuously had the opportunity to grow, and I’m now a Store Manager. I never imagined how significantly that first position would impact my life. Here are some of the milestones I’ve been able to achieve: • I bought my first car! This was a big deal to me. It felt like a symbol of my independence and the start of a new chapter in my life. • Buying a house was also a dream of mine, and it’s about to come true! I have been saving, and I plan to buy my first home next year. This is a huge step toward building the life I’ve always wanted. • Panda is also supporting my continued education. I am currently enrolled at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley as a mathematics major. The scholarships I received allow me to pursue my studies without the burden of financial stress – something I cherish and appreciate every day. From starting as a Counter Help to now being a Store Manager, Panda has played a pivotal role in shaping my life. The financial benefits have helped me grow both personally and professionally. We hosted our 2025 Associate Giving Campaign Launch event at our Support Center in Rosemead, CA. Associates had the opportunity to meet our amazing partners at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles and Children’s Hospital of Orange County, learn how their generous donations support patients through our Panda Cares Center of Hope programs, and create fun craft kits for patients. Through our annual Associate Giving Campaign, our family of associates nationwide can donate a portion of their check to support their local Children’s Miracle Network Hospital.
