With personalised, multilingual tours and built-in accessibility features, it transforms museum visits into meaningful conversations. Singapore Civil Defence Force 𝗺𝘆𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗔𝗽𝗽 – 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗗𝗶𝗴𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻 With over 200,000 users, the app empowers Community First Responders to react swiftly to cardiac arrest and minor fires with real-time location sharing, guided responses, and in-app communication. Beyond emergencies, it fosters stronger user engagement through community stories and e-learning features—helping to strengthen communities and save lives. 𝗦𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗸𝘀 @ 𝗡𝗖𝗦 𝗛𝘂𝗯 – 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗦𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻 Designed to bring people together, Sparks is built on the belief that human connection is the spark for innovation. With sustainability at its core, materials like fire-rated doors, chopsticks, chipboards, and rice husks were also thoughtfully repurposed into furniture and finishes. The energy was electrifying at today’s 𝗡𝗖𝗦 𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗰𝘁 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱! ⚡ This year's Impact forum was graced by Guest of Honour Gan Kim Yong, Deputy Prime Minister & Minister of Trade and Industry of Singapore. With the theme, 'New Horizon: the Era of AI,' the forum saw over 1,200 business leaders and tech practitioners across Asia Pacific joining us in an exchange of insightful perspectives. We shared that the intelligence-led era is here, where AI is no longer experimental. In framing this year’s discussion, we introduced three game-changing catalysts — Intelligentisation, Internationalisation, and Inspiration, the 3Is — to guide organisations across sectors and geographies on how to accelerate their AI transformation. With practical takeaways from tech leaders in the main plenary, four specialised tracks covering the topic of Governments, Enterprises, Comms & Media, and Digital Resilience, and 40+ demo showcases on cutting-edge innovation, attendees got to experience a full day of learnings. To embrace a future with AI, they also got to unlock their future careers by reimagining it with 'My Horizon,' our AI career generator, giving them a glimpse of infinite career possibilities in the age of intelligence. Wrapped up an extraordinary 𝟳.𝟳 𝗛𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 celebration! 🥳 This year was incredibly special as we hosted our first-ever NCS Family Day! Our NCS Hub truly came alive with the vibrant energy of our people and their families. From witnessing how we advance through technology at our engaging tech showcases and guided office tour, to enjoying delicious food, invigorating fitness workouts, exciting games, and shared laughter, it was a day of collective joy and memorable experiences. We also unveiled a dedicated family-friendly space in the office called Playport, filled with toys and board games to promote community. At NCS, we are committed to bringing our people together to share who we are, what we do, and where we work with their loved ones, to build an even stronger NCS community.
For the fourth year running, we are commemorating Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) Day! 🫡 We welcomed over 200 attendees at our NCS Hub to unite in our shared commitment towards National Defence. It was packed with unforgettable highlights from recognising dedicated National Service (NS) promotees to a heartfelt SAF pledge recitation during the Rededication ceremony. Our long-standing partnership with the Ministry of Defence of Singapore (MINDEF) is a testament to our resolve to strengthen National Defence through technology. 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗽! 🚀 Our Gov+ team, in partnership with Ministry of Social and Family Development, Singapore (MSF) ComLink+, empowered enthusiastic and bright young minds from Primary 3 to 6 with essential digital skills. The students gained hands-on experience with Canva, journeyed into AR/VR, grasped key cybersecurity concepts, and even experimented with generative AI. It was an action-packed day of exploration, collaboration, and fun-filled education! 💡 We're immensely thankful to LTC Shafi' Rafie, Head Community Engagement, 3rd SCDF Division for gracing the event, and our team of passionate volunteers for creating a positive learning experience for our young learners.👏 At NCS, we're committed to empowering the next generation of digital innovators to confidently navigate and innovate in the digital age.

We're thrilled to announce that NCS is one of the 8 founding members of the MERaLiON Consortium, a collaborative initiative led by A*STAR Institute for Infocomm Research to develop a Large Language Model (LLM) built specifically for Southeast Asia. The MERaLion (Multimodal Empathetic Reasoning and Learning in One Network) is a Multimodal Large Language Model that goes beyond text to process both audio and text inputs. Designed to reflect the region’s linguistic and cultural diversity, it addresses challenges unique to Southeast Asia, such as accents, code-switching, and the different dialects used. As part of this consortium, we will be harnessing industry expertise to co-develop real-world use cases and co-create application-specific variants of the model. This allows us to augment our conversational AI capabilities and deliver smarter, culturally fluent solutions tailored to the needs of our clients across sectors including governments, enterprises and telcos. This partnership reflects our shared vision of building inclusive and impactful AI innovation that drives Southeast Asia’s digital transformation.
