This week, we’re celebrating 🌟 𝐋𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐓𝐞𝐫𝐦 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐀𝐝𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐬 𝐖𝐞𝐞𝐤 🌟 and the remarkable leaders who guide our communities each day. Their leadership shapes the culture of care our residents experience every day. 𝑻𝒐 𝒆𝒂𝒄𝒉 𝒐𝒇 𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝒂𝒅𝒎𝒊𝒏𝒊𝒔𝒕𝒓𝒂𝒕𝒐𝒓𝒔: thank you for your steady leadership, your commitment to excellence, and the care you bring to the people and teams you serve. We are grateful for you. Following our recap of the Stakeholder Summit earlier this week, we’re excited to spotlight the 2025 recipients of the coveted Monarch awards (again, we’d love your suggestions on a formal name... we may put a poll out, soon! 👀). These awards honor individuals and facilities that elevate standards of care, strengthen operations, and embody our mission across Minnesota. Each recipient represents excellence not just in performance metrics, but in culture, accountability, and service to residents and one another.
The hashtag#LunarNewYear 🌕 also known as hashtag#ChineseNewYear begins today, February 17, 2026. We wish you good health, happiness, and prosperity in 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐘𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐅𝐢𝐫𝐞 𝐇𝐨𝐫𝐬𝐞! 🔥🐎 In Chinese traditions, the horse is celebrated for its association with strength, freedom, and forward momentum. Known for its endurance and spirited nature, the horse symbolizes progress and the drive to move boldly toward new horizons. This energy encourages individuals to pursue goals with confidence and determination. For many, the Year of the Horse is viewed as a time to take action, embrace independence, and move ahead with purpose. The Fire element is associated with passion, intensity, visibility, and transformation. It brings heat, boldness, and emotional force. Together, the Fire Horse forms one of the most dynamic and powerful combinations in the 60-year zodiac cycle (That's right... we haven't experienced a Fire Horse year sine 1966!) The Year of the Fire Horse is often viewed as especially energetic, fast-paced, and change-oriented. It tends to symbolize periods of bold movement, decisive action, and heightened personal drive.
Monarch Healthcare Management was proud to celebrate the completion of a comprehensive 8-month renovation yesterday at one of our flagship skilled nursing facilities, Laurels Peak Rehabilitation Center in Mankato. At Monarch, we believe the physical environment should reflect the excellence of care delivered within it. This comprehensive remodel refreshed nearly every space throughout the building — from administrative offices and the entryway to the dining hall, library, and residents’ rooms. Updates include new flooring and wall guards throughout, modern light fixtures and moldings, fresh paint, and a brighter, on-brand color palette featuring Monarch’s signature orange accents. We were honored to host a ribbon cutting alongside Greater Mankato Growth, with members of the Monarch executive team, representatives from Care Providers of Minnesota, and many community partners in attendance. Guests enjoyed catered refreshments and guided campus tours led by the site administrator, Macy (Wilharm) Booker, and regional director of operations, John Schlack. Thank you to everyone who stopped in during Laurels Peak's Open House yesterday. If you missed the event and would like to schedule a tour, please contact Macy at (507) 345-4631 or MBooker@MonarchMN.com.

🎸 𝑴𝒐𝒏𝒂𝒓𝒄𝒉 𝑴𝒐𝒏𝒅𝒂𝒚: 𝑹𝒐𝒄𝒌𝒔𝒕𝒂𝒓 𝑫𝒂𝒚 🎸 Our teams turned up the volume for hashtag#MonarchMonday by channeling their inner rockstars—breaking out band tees, bold style, and plenty of air guitar along the way. The energy was high, the creativity was on full display, and the smiles said it all. Moments like these remind us that while the work we do is serious, bringing joy, personality, and fun into the workplace makes our teams even stronger. Thank you to our rockstar employees for showing up every day and giving it their all—on and off the stage. #MonarchMN
Each year, Monarch Healthcare Management brings its leadership and corporate teams together to celebrate what truly sets our organization apart: our people. Our annual holiday party—held this year at the Renaissance Hotel in Minneapolis—was a joyful opportunity to reflect on a year defined by hard work, compassion, and meaningful impact. From karaoke and catered refreshments to reconnecting with colleagues from across the state, the evening was both a celebration and a sincere thank-you to those who lead, support, and strengthen Monarch every day. It was also a chance to glam up, have fun, and ring in the new year with the Monarch family. 🦋 As CEO Marc shared in the video, “We are here to love, and we are here to care—and that’s what Monarch is about.” While 2026 brings uncertainty, Monarch looks ahead with confidence and optimism, ready to shine through together. Thank you to our founders Noam Jaffa, Josh Legum, Marc Halpert, William Stern, and to 📹 Bloom Creativ for beautifully capturing the joy, and energy of the evening.
𝐀 𝐧𝐞𝐰 𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐟𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐡 𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐲—𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐛𝐨𝐥𝐝 𝐜𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐫! 🎨 To kick off Monarch’s first Monarch Monday of the year, team members across our communities showed up in their favorite vibrant hues, bringing creativity, personality, and positivity to the start of 2026. It was a simple reminder that small moments of self-expression can set the tone for a bright year ahead. Thank you to our teams for continuing to bring color, care, and heart into the work you do every day. #MonarchMonday#MonarchMN #HappyNewYear
🦋🎓 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐚𝐫 𝐒𝐩𝐨𝐭𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭: 𝐑𝐨𝐬𝐚 𝐂., 𝐑𝐍 We often spotlight Monarch Scholars who are currently enrolled in school—balancing coursework while continuing to care for our residents. Rosa Cuzko is a great example of another important part of the Monarch Education Assistance Program: supporting employees after they’ve completed their degree through student loan reimbursement. Rosa is a Registered Nurse at The Estates at Chateau and has been part of the Monarch team for three years. She completed her nursing program at Herzing University, driven by her compassionate nature and a desire to build a career centered on caring for others. After completing her program, Rosa applied for—and received—student loan reimbursement through the Monarch Education Assistance Program, helping ease the financial burden of her education while continuing her professional journey with Monarch. We’re proud to support dedicated team members like Rosa as they grow, learn, and continue making a difference every day. 🧡
We’re proud to celebrate Monarch employee Juliana Lundberg, Administrator at The North Shore Estates in Duluth, who was honored as the 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓 Care Providers of Minnesota 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐘𝐞𝐚𝐫! Juliana’s dedication, integrity, and steady leadership make a meaningful difference for residents, families, and staff every single day. This award reflects the respect she has earned across our organization and the long-term care community. Please join us in congratulating Juliana on this incredible and well-deserved achievement! 🧡
