It's time for another #LoyalLegend! Our Campus Recruitment Manager, BJ Taylor has had countless success stories during his time here at Loyal Source. A UCF alumni, and basketball star, BJ has taken our campus recruitment and athlete internship program head on. He's appeared on the news to discuss the benefits of our internship program and most recently was awarded UCF's 30 Under 30 award! This spring, the UCF community will celebrate the achievement of these individuals and the impact they have made in their profession, community, and the university post commencement. Hats off to BJ!
This past month, we hosted our annual leadership retreat at Margaritaville Resort Orlando! The event was filled with opportunities for learning, training, team building, and plenty of fun as we connected with members from across the organization. Each year, we treat our management to two days of awards, professional development, bonding, games, cash prizes, and great food. Last year's theme was accountability, and this year's theme is growth, reflecting our company's ongoing expansion. This event is an excellent way to celebrate our leadership's talent and achievements and introduce new ideas through our very own version of Shark Tank, where teams pitch new business ideas. The winning team receives extra PTO to enjoy throughout the year. We call that a win-win!

From being named Employee of the Quarter in 2018 to receiving the Social Contributor Award in 2023, her growth and values are evident. Miss Queen truly embodies her name and deserves a huge congratulations for making the Dean's Honors List while pursuing her degree in business administration. We are excited to announce the launch of our new Loyal Healthcare Mobile Exam Units (MEUs), designed to enhance healthcare accessibility and quality for our Veterans! In our partnership with the VA, our MEUs aim to bring critical healthcare services to underserved and remote communities where facilities are limited. They will provide greater convenience for Veterans who cannot travel to distant locations, reducing drive and wait times. Equipped with cutting-edge tools, our MEUs can conduct exams in specialties such as general medicine, mental health, audiology, and optometry, offering readily available services for our beloved vets. Our first Straight Street of the year in the books! Every last Wednesday of the month, our philanthropy committee volunteers at a local food share in Downtown Orlando. This time, we catered delicious food from the local Lechonera and served over 200 meals to those in need. It is truly a rewarding and humbling experience we are excited to be apart of. Straight Street Inc is a 501(c)(3) non-profit urban mission committed to addressing the physical, spiritual, and emotional needs of the poor and homeless in our city. Their meal-sharing program has become a cornerstone of their efforts. With the support of volunteers like us, community organizers, and local churches, they have delivered over 200,000 meals.
