🖥️ Kafka Producer Tuning for High-Latency Networks 🖥️ Hear from Austin, one of our Engineers, on how we optimised Kafka producer performance to handle high-latency network links, while maintaining high throughput. By fine-tuning our producer by increasing socket buffer sizes, we achieved a 10x boost in throughput. Our tests showed auto-tuning is just as effective as manual tuning while using memory more efficiently.
