“The roads are gone” – so Jeremy White, a retired #Army Special Forces operator turned Edge Autonomy Program Manager and contract pilot, is taking to the skies. For the past week, he’s teamed up with other #Veterans to airdrop critical supplies in regions of western North Carolina that federal and state emergency services haven’t yet reached as the area struggles with the devastation of #Helene. We’re so proud of the former service members on our team who continue looking for ways to help their communities. But the need is great. Learn how you can support Veteran-driven volunteer efforts as they deliver more relief in the wake of Hurricane Helene: #SaluteToService #NorthCarolina #HurricaneHelene #ThisisEdge
Exciting day at Edge Autonomy Riga as we had the honor of welcoming György Urkuti, the Hungarian Ambassador of Latvia, and the Defense Attaché. It was a great opportunity to showcase our innovative solutions in uncrewed aircraft and ISR gimbal solutions, and the group enjoyed a tour of our engineering, development, and manufacturing facility. Thank you to the Ambassador for taking the time to learn more about the work we do to support our allies as they achieve mission success! #UAV #EdgeInnovation #Diplomacy #AmbassadorVisit

#UAVs that depend on only one energy source impose a logistics burden on the warfighter. This is not ideal for executing complex operations, which is why our #VXE30 #Stalker offers multiple power options to optimize endurance and payload capacity. Working with Amprius Technologies we’re utilizing long-endurance battery packs for superior energy density, power density, cycle life, charge rate, and safety. This enables the Stalker to achieve up to 6 hours mission endurance with two payloads across a range of 40km with battery configuration, while achieving up to 9 hours with our solid oxide fuel cell (SOFC). This notable increase in stamina is part of Edge Autonomy’s mission to create best-in-class solutions for long-range reconnaissance. With durability proven by thousands of flight hours logged across 6 continents, the VXE30 Stalker has emerged as an industry-leader in range, endurance, and payload capacity. See farther, see more! #LRR #Battery #Endurance #EdgeInnovations #UAS #MissionSuccess
This week, JDrone drone operators from Japan began a training course for operations of our Penguin C VTOL UAV. This initiative is part of Edge Autonomy product use by the Japan Atomic Research Agency (JAEA). For several years, JAEA has utilized the catapult version of our Penguin C to measure radiation levels in Fukushima, equipping the aircraft with specialized measurement devices that allowed for the successful gathering of critical data to support their research. With the addition of our Penguin C VTOL system, JAEA’s research capabilities are now set to expand, offering a more flexible takeoff and landing footprint and adding greater overall agility to their mission. #Penguin #VTOL #UAV #UncrewedAircraft #Japan #Training

Autumn is here, and the Edge Autonomy team in #Riga took advantage of the cooler weather to enjoy a day of hiking in the countryside of Ķemeri, Latvia. A little rain didn't stop the group, who hiked ~20 km - including an orienteering exercise and a climb to the top of the 42-meter-high Ķemeri water tower, which is an architectural monument built in 1929. It was the perfect day to enjoy nature and great company, and we ended the get together with a well-deserved meal of a delicious regional favorite, solanka soup. A big thank you to everyone who participated! Looking forward to our next adventure together. #ThisIsEdge #TeamBuilding #Nature #Adventure
