From Preston’s Flag Market to Britain’s roads! 🥔⛽ EG On The Move, Taster and SpudBros are partnering to expand SpudBros Express nationwide, with 30 new roadside locations planned over three years and 15 confirmed for 2026. Following strong launches in Blackburn and Wakefield, the format is proving successful beyond city centres, bringing the iconic brand to customers through convenient, high-frequency roadside locations.
EG On The Move has completed the acquisition of MPK Garages Ltd, adding 27 forecourt sites and strengthening our presence across the Midlands. As we approach 200 UK locations, this growth brings more opportunities for our people, customers and communities, alongside increased investment in fast EV charging, expanded fuel card solutions, and continued innovation across our growing network.
To mark Mental Health Awareness Week, our teams took time to focus on something that matters to us, wellbeing, connection, and having more open conversations around mental health. There were opportunities to reset and recharge throughout the week, including yoga and Pilates sessions led by Ryan Scott from BwD Leisure, a webinar with Andy’s Man Club, a sound bath session with Purple Butterfly, and a raffle to win a free massage which raised £215 for Andy’s Man Club. All local organisations we’re pleased to support. Creating space for these conversations and moments isn’t just for one week, it’s something we’re continuing to build on as an organisation.
EG On The Move Celebrates Random Acts of Kindness Day 💛 Random Acts of Kindness Day is always an important moment for us at EG On The Move. It reflects who we are as a business, caring about our communities, supporting one another, and taking action where we can truly make an impact. The highlight of the week was seeing our field teams fully embrace the initiative. From creative fundraising ideas to hands-on involvement, their enthusiasm and teamwork truly stood out. It was inspiring to see so many colleagues stepping forward, supporting their communities, and turning small acts of kindness into meaningful impact. Across Head Office, our teams went above and beyond to support a range of charitable causes, raising an amazing £900+ for Zaimah Charity and donating to Blackburn Foodbank to help local families in need. A huge thank you to everyone who took part, donated, and helped make the week such a success. This is what being part of EG On The Move is all about, coming together, supporting our communities, and making a real difference. 🌟
National Apprenticeship Week Spotlight! 🌟 To mark National Apprenticeship Week, Steph and Amelia spent a Day in the Life at Starbucks alongside Area Managers Jen and Jenny, and Store Manager Brad. Steph completed her Level 2 Recruitment & Resourcing in 2024. Amelia is progressing through her Level 3 HR Support apprenticeship, due to complete in 2027. The Starbucks Immersion Day gave them valuable, hands‑on insight into store operations, people leadership, and how recruitment and HR shape both the partner and customer experience. It was a brilliant moment where two worlds came together, our Head Office functions and our Food‑to‑Go partners working side by side. A huge well done to both for continuing to grow, learn, and bring fresh perspective to our teams. 🌱✨
Every office deserves someone who loves baking 🧚♀️🎂 This week, our teams came together to celebrate Brew Monday, turning what’s often known as Blue Monday into an opportunity for connection, conversation, and care. Brew Monday focuses on simple moments of connection in the office and field, encouraging teams to check in with one another over a cup of tea or coffee. We were also pleased to work in partnership with Starbucks, who hosted a coffee tasting that brought colleagues together and added an extra moment of connection to the day. We’re proud to say the event also raised £170 for Samaritans, supporting their vital work. A huge thank you to our amazing People Team for organising the day, and to Zainab for baking the most delicious cakes. Moments like these reflect what we value most: community, kindness, and looking out for one another, inside and outside of work.
