We’re proud to launch our new Cabin Crew uniform that’s all about comfort, inclusivity, and sustainability - designed with our crew’s voices at the heart of it. “Our cabin crew operate at the leading edge of our Company, having the most interaction to our flying customers. How confidently our cabin crew present themselves and how they feel about representing Airtanker is vitally important to us as business as it sets the foundation for people’s perception of AirTanker, both as a professional organisation and an employer with high standards.”- Mark Alexander, CEO Discover how we’re redefining style at AirTanker and celebrating every individual on board.
We’re excited to announce that Robert Courts KC has been appointed as Non-Executive Director, joining the AirTanker board! As former Aviation Minister, Defence Select Committee Chair and constituency MP of our RAF Brize Norton base for nearly a decade – Robert has been a passionate advocate for the RAF, the defence sector and our local area throughout his public service. He steered the aviation sector through the COVID pandemic, delivered the Jet Zero Strategy, Flightpath to the Future, and the Air Traffic Management and Unmanned Aircraft Act; kickstarted the UK’s civil military co-operation and steered airspace modernisation. He also supported the first Voyager flight powered by Sustainable Aviation Fuel. With the increasing global threat, Robert joins at a critical time as we continue to deliver: ➡️ War fighting readiness: supporting UK and NATO operations every day. ➡️ Growth: with our proven, UK-built industry partnership standing ready to invest a further £1-2bn in private capital, in addition to the £2.7bn invested upfront. ➡️ A whole-force approach: with 17% RAF, 15% Sponsored Reservist, and 12% veteran personnel. Robert’s insight will be invaluable as we look to the future – investing in the capabilities we provide, delivering a genuinely unique military-civil integrated model, and enabling the RAF to fly further for longer. Please join us in welcoming him to the team! 🌟

Reflecting on a successful hashtag#RIAT25 where on our final day yesterday, we hosted our colleagues and their friends and families. We’re a unique and brilliant team of civilians, military personnel, Sponsored Reservists and veterans, working together as ONE VOYAGER FORCE. It was great to celebrate with the team yesterday, and see so many valued partners and their families across the weekend.
It was a pleasure to host Michael Schoellhorn, his Airbus colleagues and RAF Senior Officers at Brize Norton this week. Discussing the importance of industry and military collaboration to ensure UK and NATO defence in the face of rising threats, and the critical role that the Voyager Force plays – the prime example of a combined civilian / military partnership in action.

We’re extremely proud to announce that AirTanker has been awarded the Silver Award in the Armed Forces Covenant: Defence Employer Recognition Scheme. The Armed Forces Covenant is a promise from the UK to those who serve or who have served in the Armed Forces, and their families, which says we will do all we can to ensure they are treated fairly and not disadvantaged in their day-to-day lives. The Armed Forces Covenant relies on the people, communities, and businesses of the UK to actively support it, in order to make a difference. Congratulations to Nathan Glasspool, Mike Caffrey and James Malkie for compiling the application that won us the award, and thank you to everyone who makes AirTanker a supportive and inclusive partner and place to work for Armed Forces personnel, which is what the award recognises. We are committed to building on this success to further help service personnel, sponsored reserves and the wider armed forces community thrive at AirTanker and through our endeavours.

As we pause in reflection on VE Day, marking 80 years since the end of World War Two in Europe, we pay our deepest respects in remembrance of unwavering commitment and sacrifice. As a team today, our diverse mix of RAF Regulars, Reserves, Sponsored Reservists, Veterans, and Civilians, take great pride in supporting our Armed Forces’ defence of our country and our allies, continuing the legacy of service VE Day represents. We are honoured our Voyager aircraft took to the skies above London and Buckingham Palace in the Royal Air Force flypast, in recognition of this most significant anniversary. We will remember them. hashtag#VEDay80 hashtag#VE80 Picture credit: AS1 Amelia Turnbull @ Crown copyright 2025 / UK MOD © Crown copyright 2025 Pictured: VE Day 80 flypast with Voyager (bottom) and A400M Atlas.
