Please welcome AMLI's 2025 Summer Construction Interns in Atlanta, Austin, Dallas, and Denver! Ava Davies and Piper DeWitt are students at Texas State University! Alex Arango is a Kennesaw State University student, and Ethan Valdez attends Colorado State University. We are excited to welcome these individuals to the AMLI Development team and look forward to a productive summer!
We call ourselves the AMLI fAMLI and do our very best to try and live up to that standard in how we treat, care for and support one another, but this weekend some of our own Austin AMLI fAMLI went one step further and weren’t just fAMLI, but AMLI Spartans!! Seven of our construction team members from both Mueller IV and Mueller V joined forces together as a team building event to battle it out together in Burnet at the Sprint 5K Spartan race which was not only comprised of 3.1 miles but 20 different obstacles including a fire jump at the end! Because it’s Texas in May, the weather was finicky (having stormed heavily the night before) and it was HOT. It was a 100 degrees on Saturday with 100% humidity and a heat index of 113 degrees. These team members were true warriors (or Spartans) and not only sweated together on the course, but they worked together as well to get to the finish line. The course was no walk in the park as evidenced by how everyone looked at the end of the race.
🌎 AMLI RESIDENTS DIVERTED 31,654 PLASTIC BAGS FROM LANDFILLS! 🌎 We're thrilled to announce the results of our 2025 Plastic Bag Recycling Drive! To celebrate Earth Day, residents across all AMLI communities collected over 31,000 plastic bags from April 18-22. These bags will be transformed into sustainable building materials through our partnership with ByFusion! 💚♻️ Plastic bags recycled by region: Dallas: 8,394 bags Atlanta: 6,347 bags Chicago: 5,584 bags South Florida: 5,350 bags Southern California: 2,404 bags Austin: 2,251 bags Denver: 2,150 bags Seattle: 1,441 bags Special thanks to CORT for sponsoring our regional prizes and championing sustainable furnishing solutions that promote conscious consumption. Congratulations to our eight regional winners who will each receive a $250 VISA gift card for their outstanding contributions! At AMLI, we believe small actions create big impacts.
