Pros

This is a growing company that seems to be quite stable in terms of business outlook, and offers above average compensation.

Kontras

Please, especially if you are a college senior or someone who is in the first few years of your career, make sure you fully understand srcLogic's work and the general industry it operates in before joining. I think someone else put it well in their review that if you have a STEM background, you have access to a number of lucrative, interesting tech jobs. Think about what kind of career you want to build before jumping into this role. srcLogic does not allow you to learn marketable computer science/coding skills, nor is it seeking to build anything particularly cutting-edge or disruptive. If you are like me, and were not at all technical before coming to this company, please also think carefully about the kind of work you want to be doing long term. srcLogic has gotten very good at catering to a niche market of clients who ask for custom "workflow management" software - ie, the software that those clients will then use to perform their daily tasks and manage their businesses. srcLogic builds these "workflow management solutions" by using something called Pegasystems, which is a "drag and drop" platform that has been built on top of Java, to essentially make software building accessible to someone who might be otherwise "nontechnical", and quicker to execute. For me, this job felt extremely hard to sustain any interest in. I by no means want to say that it was a "bad" job, or that the work at this company is universally disengaging, but it was for me and it could be for you as well if you don't do your research before joining (which I unfortunately did not). This was my first job out of college, which also made it more difficult to pivot out and into something I found more interesting. I now am in a role I'm much more engaged in, but I think taking this as your first job (if it's something you're not interested in doing for the long term) could become tricky, though definitely not insurmountable. In short - do your research! If after really understanding what this company does, you are still interested (drag and drop coding to build workflow solutions for clients), then I would give you the green light on this. If you are not, then please think carefully before proceeding.

Pros

-Remote Opportunities -Investment in training (8/10 weeks) -Visibility to company leadership/high-level decision making -Young company culture -Competitive Salary

Kontras

srcLogic primarily utilizes Pega software, and most entry-level roles will focus almost exclusively on it. When applying, it's important to research Pega thoroughly. However, if you demonstrate interest in other software/career path that could contribute to the company's profitability, srcLogic may offer a role in that field.

Pros

Most people hired out of college, nice to be starting with other recent grads Early emphasis on training and skills development

Kontras

Role is really more software development than consulting Company does not have full-time staff for internal functions so consultants have added responsibilities Company is reliant on government contracts Leadership preaches transparency but doesn't follow through, often shows favoritism Lack of career opportunities/development other than software-focused roles Compensation lags behind other companies that use low-code software
