Pros

myDevices is a great company to work for. It’s rare to find start-up companies that offer a team-oriented vibe amidst an extremely fast-paced work environment with constant changes. It’s impressive how quickly things move and refreshing to see how much employee feedback is valued. As a smaller, yet growing team, it feels like you have a direct hand in the company’s upward trajectory. I’m excited to see where this company will be in the near future.

Kontras

The company is still young and processes are still being established.

Pros

It's a small office, so it's relatively easy to communicate directly with upper management, and to feel like your input matters here. What really kept me so long, is that my coworkers honestly made it a fun place to work, in spite of a lot of friction and negativity at the management level. The nerf gun wars were pretty epic, and there was always good office banter and relations between technical staff. The project manager we had was also great about arranging catered lunches during crunch time. Generously catered meals Office parties and company picnics Comfortable office and cubicles Very friendly and fun people to work with Small office vibe Good focus on using current technologies

Kontras

There was an uncomfortably high turnover rate when I worked here, and someone was quitting or let go on an almost weekly basis. That makes it hard, because a lot of the people were very cool to work with and it's natural to start to rely on them being there. One thing that almost led to me quitting was that we went through 4 different development managers in a period of 3 years and some of them had a very negative impact on morale and daily operations. It seems like some of that mess has been straightened out, so maybe it's better now. There were a lot of cons from my perspective, so I'll try to focus on the important ones. Poor business direction No stock options (not during my tenure) Very little if any 401k matching Small cost of living raises and gift cards as bonuses Too many remote developers from far away places
