Pros
I’m a 22 year old that’s been working with this company since July of 2017. I’m based in a large city of England (Manchester), and while there are MANY opportunities for me to utilise my skills that are very “people-oriented,” the ironic thing about it all is that I battle with a bit of anxiety when having to interact with people, face to face & on a daily basis. Now, I get to use these skills that are second-nature to me, WHILE being within the comfort of my own home. I literally roll out of bed, spend no more than half an hour getting ready, then head straight into work. No more travel anxiety or other anxieties that I would’ve faced if I had the more traditional job. Teaching online is literally my life and it does provide challenges; but it’s the type of challenges that forces you to grow. I don’t know what I would do without this job and I do hope and pray I get to work with them for a number of years as that is my intention. It is my only source of income and while I plan to start my own business soon, I intend to still work with them part time! All in all, I will be here for a long time and I couldn’t be any happier. No job is perfect, but they are always ensuring that our experience is worthwhile! I’m grateful.
Kontras
Some downsides (that I’ve noticed them actively working on) — are connection or technical issues that may not be our faults, but may affect our ratings or the overall quality of a particular session. Another may be the uncertainty of how many classes we will actually teach vs. The ones we were hoping to book on a particular day. (I understand that this may improve the more qualified/well-rated we are as teachers)
