Pros

If you're looking for a wide range of experience and are still young in your career, this is the place to go. This is the perfect place to learn what not to do. It was my first job out of college and because of the lack of staffing and educated employees you'll end up working for multiple departments at once. However, because of that you'll be able to beef up your resume.

Kontras

Do not stick to their promises. Was promised a raise 3 times and a bonus 2 times which I never received. They claim to be the top 100 places to work at in Chicago however they cheated. I walked into the marketing department to see they were filling out the applications on behalf of false names and submitting it to CRAIGS in order to get nominated for that award. They want A grade employees for C grade pay. Don't stay at this company long. Very disorganized company, they haven't had a Director of IT in 2 years.

Pros

Very caring company who balances the needs of the customers with the needs of the employees and the needs of the shareholders. Very approachable management team that are involved with the day to day. People work hard and care about each other.

Kontras

The nature of the industry - ups and downs. Sometimes staffing is lean. If the expectation of working hard is a con to you then its a con.

Pros

Great new team - The GM all the way down are major upgrades. Positive attitude culture. The facility and our new work areas are great no matter what industry you're in. It's not for everyone they are hard but fair graders. If you want a simple 9-5 and don't want to push yourself to be the best you won't make it at IDC. Its also fun we have all types of activities & give back to the community.

Kontras

They waited to long to cut out some under performers but I think they got it right. They had some negative people but they worked their way out of the organization. They usually cut the bottom 10% of performers - they follow the GE method - so it's a hard/fair culture. They don't tolerate excuses...
