Now the reason why, everyone just kept their heads down.
There no accountability by management. They often propose projects that quickly became aimless because there’s no real support from management. They tell you to complete the projects without giving you the resources. When you voice any objections, you get called a Debbie Downer. You’re basically asked to be a team player, but you get no practice time, no strategy, and sometimes no teammates. And considering how the odds are stacked against you and you managed to get something done? Don’t expect a bonus, or a raise, or even a title change. 5 years and there was none.
During Covid-19, half was furloughed and a few were laid off. Our COO, CEO, and president were silent for months and even put off an “All Hands meeting” with the furloughed employees.
