Promotion is given on the basis of experience not on the talent of people. You can see a people who can't even communicate with the client nor they have good coding experience still posseing the Lead designation. Seen plenty of good resources who left the organisation due to the behaviour of a single person. No matter how much you inform to the management they don't even care as they believe in the ideology of OLD IS GOLD. Due to the ideology, many intelligent resources left this organisation.
